Jason M. Kueser has focused his practice on helping clients in a variety of matters. These include securities and investment related cases, and consumer fraud and civil litigation, including class actions. Additionally, Jason works with startups and small business on various matters. Likewise, he also provides estate planning services to his clients.
Jason is admitted to the Missouri Bar and the Kansas Bar, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Before attending law school, Jason worked extensively in the financial services industry. Specifically, he worked as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of a financial planning firm, and as an accountant for a mutual fund company.
Jason graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City (UMKC) School of Law with an emphasis in litigation and business law.
While in law school, Jason was named to the Dean’s List each semester and received a variety of additional honors. He was the Managing Editor of The Urban Lawyer, which is the American Bar Association’s National Quarterly on State and Local Government Law. Additionally, Jason served as an Associate on the UMKC Law Review for two years. Furthermore, he participated in the Ellison Moot Court Competition and was a recipient of the Marvin and Patricia Rich Corporate Law Prize, which is a merit-based award recognizing law students of superior character, academic achievement, and potential.
Prior to law school, Jason earned an MBA in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from UMKC’s Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration. While earning his MBA, Jason was selected as a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, which is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Jason is a member of the board of directors of the Lee’s Summit Baseball Association. Additionally, Jason coaches competitive youth baseball and basketball teams in the Lee’s Summit area.
